Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is inviting online applications for 2158 Group-B, Gazetted permanent positions across various state govt departments. Last date for application submission is 22-01-2026. Vetting Officer 01 Bachelor's Degree (Arts/Science/Commerce) with 50% marks (English or Hindi Lit. as a subject) AND 3-year LL.B. with 50% marks OR 5-year LL.B. with 50% marks.
Inspector of Drugs 26 Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medicine with Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology specialization AND 18 months experience in manufacturing/testing Schedule 'C' substances OR 3 years inspection experience.
Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari 221 Master's Degree in Sociology or any Social Science subject (includes Anthropology, Psychology, Pol. Science, Geography, History, Economics).
Dental Surgeon 157 B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree and registration with U.P. Dental Council; must have completed mandatory rotatory internship before the last date.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved) 168 Degree in Ayurveda OR 5-year degree/diploma from Board of Indian Medicine, U.P., registration as Vaidya, and 6 months professional experience.
Medical Officer, Community Health (Ayurvedic/Unani) 884 Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib, registration as Vaidya/Hakeem with Board of Indian Medicine, U.P., and 6 months professional experience.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani) 25 Degree or 5-year diploma in Unani Tib, registration as Hakeem with Board of Indian Medicine, U.P., and 6 months professional experience.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic) 07 Degree (min. 5 years) or Diploma (min. 4 years) in Homoeopathy and registration with Homoeopathic Medicine Board, U.P.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer 265 Recognized Diploma (min. 4 years) or Degree in Homoeopathy and registration with Homoeopathic Medicine Board, U.P.
Age Relaxation
  • SC/ST/OBC and Skilled Players of U.P.: 5 Years (Only for U.P. Domicile).
  • State Govt. Employees of U.P.: 5 Years.
  • Physically Handicapped (P.H.): 15 Years.
  • Ex-Army Personnels of U.P.: 3 years + period of service rendered.
Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Nature of Post: All posts are permanent (Group-B, Gazetted).
  • Language Requirement: Knowledge of Hindi is essential.
  • Domicile: Candidates from all states can apply, but reservation and age relaxation benefits are restricted to U.P. Domicile holders.
  • Final Year Eligibility: Candidates must possess the essential qualifications by the last date of application submission (22-01-2026). Final year students are not eligible unless they complete their degree/internship requirements by the closing date.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will be comprise of a screening examination, interview, document verification, and preparation of the final merit list.

Screening Examination

The Commission will conduct a objective type Screening Examination to shortlist candidates for the interview stage.

Interview

Candidates who qualify in the screening examination will be called for the interview. The interview schedule and venue will be communicated to eligible candidates separately by the Commission.

Document Verification

Candidates shortlisted after the interview will be required to produce original documents and self-attested copies of certificates in support of age, qualification, category, and other claims made in the online application.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared by adding 75% marks of the screening examination and 25% marks of the interview. Candidates will be recommended for appointment based on their position in the final merit list and availability of vacancies.

How to Apply :

  1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) by obtaining a valid OTR number before starting the online application. Candidates without an OTR number must generate it at least 72 hours before application submission.
  2. Log in using the OTR number and authenticate through OTP or OTR password to access the application dashboard.
  3. Select the relevant advertisement and post, and proceed to fill the online application form.
  4. Verify that personal details auto-fetched from OTR such as name, date of birth, category, domicile, photo, and signature are correct.
  5. Fill in educational qualification and experience details as required for the applied post.
  6. Choose applicable preference or eligibility options where required and proceed to the fee payment stage.
  7. Pay the prescribed application fee online using available payment modes before 22-01-2026.
  8. After successful fee payment, complete the final submission of the online application form.
  9. Take a printout of the finally submitted application form and keep it safely for future reference.
  10. No printed application form or documents are required to be sent to Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission at this stage.
  11. Printed copy of the application form and original documents will be required only when called for screening, interview, or document verification.
